From Water to Wine Tour – NKBA SoCal Visits Waterstone

How do you go from water to wine in one afternoon? Several members of NKBA were invited to find out at a unique industry event. Called the “From Water to Wine Tour,” over 30 members from the Southern California Chapter came out to see how luxury kitchen faucets are made in America. The tour was organized by NKBA SoCal President Nichole Cooper of Expressions Home Gallery. The two part event included a tour of Waterstone Faucets, then a relaxing lunch out in the Temecula wine country. First was the “Water” part of the event. After arriving by bus from Orange County, the group was given a in-depth tour of the factory and were able to get a first hand insight on the Waterstone process. President Chris Kuran walked the group through the CNC machining area, polishing and plating. VP of Operations Paul Yandell, demonstrated our Kanban process of inventory and faucet assembly. A couple of NKBA members even rolled up their sleeves and helped built a faucet. West Region Sales Manager Ben Newcombe wrapped up the tour with a presentation on why Waterstone Faucets are not only the most beautiful faucets out there, but made with the highest quality and craftsmanship in the industry. Once the factory tour was over, it was to the “Wine” portion of the event. NKBA members and the Waterstone sales team headed out to the Miramonte Winery in Temecula. They were treated to a 5 course wine tasting lunch and a chance to relax. With all that talent in one place, the conversations immediately went to design. We want to thank NKBA SoCal President Nichole Copper for setting up the event. We appreciate the groups support and hope you enjoyed the day! New Product! The Pembroke Bar and Filtration Faucet Collection

INNOVATIVE DESIGN MATCHES ALL TRADITIONAL PLP PULLDOWN FAUCETS When thinking of great combinations, peanut butter and jelly could be right there at the top of the list. So, what could be better than PB and J? Well, nothing really, but at Waterstone, we believe we have come-up with an outstanding combination for your kitchen. Introducing the Pembroke Bar and Filtration Faucet Collection. An exquisite series of bar and filtration faucets that perfectly match our traditional PLP Pulldown collection. A true “mini-me” of the traditional PLP.  The Pembroke Collection was designed with the same decorative finial elements on the neck and spout tip as our traditional PLP Pulldown.  Side by side, these two faucets will become stunning centerpieces to any kitchen. The Pembroke is available in 3 types of filtration faucet, cold only, hot only and a dual handle hot/cold combo. At Waterstone, we never stop innovating. We are all about SUITING your kitchen sink area. Our traditional PLP Pulldown is already a popular choice with foodies and home chefs. By adding the convenience of hot or cold filtered water on demand filtration faucet, it creates a professional-level functionality in your kitchen that’s ideal for food prep. Just think of the ultimate food station you could create. Plus, it will look fabulous! Can’t stand the taste of tap water? When combined with any Waterstone Under Sink System, these Pembroke traditional filtration faucets can remove chemicals and particles that may be in municipal water. Get instant hot water for boiling, coffee, tea or soup. Quench that thirst with refreshing cold, purified water, right from your kitchen sink. The Pembroke Filtration Faucets feature an elegant C-spout with a 5” reach and can swivel 360 degrees. A smooth 1.1 gpm (gallons per minute) maximum flow rate gives a perfect pour. Available with lever handles or cross handles, they also include a 1/4 turn ceramic disk valve cartridge. These Pembroke faucets are made of solid brass construction for a lifetime of durability and are available in 30 finishes. Now that you’ve wolfed-down those PB and Js, it’s time to clean up. When you are cooking with family and friends, clean-up is made easy with the PLP’s innovative pull down sprayer. When spraying, a flexible braided hose moves with you while the counterbalanced weight prevents the tug-back effect that most pulldown faucets have. Reach every corner of the sink during cleanup and when finished, the sprayer “locks” back into place. This innovative positive lock design holds the ergonomic handle in place and prevents sag when not in use. At Waterstone, we make jewelry for your kitchen! We have once again created an amazing product that not only adds the desired functionality to a kitchen, but looks great in the process. The PLP Pulldown Faucets and the Pembroke Bar and Filtration Faucets are a stunning duo that go together naturally – just like hot dogs and baseball. They are built in the same style and with the same quality, from the same faucet company – Waterstone, a U.S. based faucet manufacturer. All faucets and accessories from Waterstone are made in Murrieta, California – never overseas. We take pride in being Made in the USA and it shows in the quality and craftsmanship of our products.

Waterstone Holds 2016 International Sales Meeting at Pala Resort

Sale reps from all over North America came out to California to participate in the 2016 Waterstone Faucets International Sales Meeting. Held over three days at the Pala Casino and Resort, reps got some first hand kitchen faucet training with our National and Region Sales Managers. The first day consisted of a plant tour and some faucet assembly training. Several of the reps actually built a faucet with one of our assembly crew. Packaging, printing, manufacturing software, marketing material and website development were all part of the presentations. On to cocktails, dinner and the Clemson/Alabama National Championship Game. Day three started with a half day presentation and feedback session, then on to some fun. Attendees were given the choice of a wine tour in Temecula, golf at the Pala Mesa Resort or a spa treatment at Pala. Waterstone cannot thank our sales team enough. WATERSTONE HOLDS 2015 INTERNATIONAL SALES MEETING AT SEA

This year’s Waterstone International Sales Meeting, truly went global. Waterstone invited all it’s national and Canadian sales representatives to attend the meeting aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Imagination. Part business, part pleasure, the cruise was a way of rewarding the hard work of their reps and spouses. With another record year for sales at Waterstone, our crew definitely earned it. Held January 25th – 27th, the cruise allowed some of New Englanders and Canadians to escape record snow storms and enjoy the warm California sunshine. After leaving the port of Long Beach, Imagination headed off to Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles. Many of the team felt adventurous and went zip lining or took the safari Bus in search of buffalo. Others took it easy strolling the streets of Avalon shopping and enjoying the ocean views. The next day, we got down to business. Waterstone began the day with VP of Marketing and Sales, Bob Santella introducing the reps and announcing another year of record sales. That’s 4 years in a row for Waterstone! Next up was President Chris Kuran with the state of the business. Chris talked about the vast improvements in customer service and manufacturing. Last year, Waterstone invested heavily in machinery and the reps got a glance at all the factory’s new toys. More upgrades and improvements in plating and finishing were presented. The expansion of the factory floor and adding a significant amount of new employees to help improve lead times. Next came the good stuff – New products for 2015. First up, the Wheel Pulldown Faucet. A true re-invention of the Wheel, this new pulldown faucet is a one of a kind. Modeled after the wheel of a ship, our Wheel Faucet proves that Waterstone is the most innovative kitchen faucet designer in the industry. Next was the Two Handle Kitchen faucets. Three new additions to the Annapolis, Hampton and Towson Suites. The Two Handle faucets biggest feature is the new braking system designed to prevent handle sag. Other than some seasickness by a few, the meeting was smooth sailing. Sorry, really bad pun. Next stop was the coastal city of Ensenada, Mexico. It was a great day of shopping, amazing local food and, of course, the margaritas. Walking down the main street, we were bombarded with vendors, merchants hawking deals and shouts of “Almost free!” Big thanks to all that attended. Our team is the reason behind Waterstone success. It’s people, product, process that sets us apart. Congrats to another successful year! Can’t wait for next year.
